After his photo-op, Ortiz suffered the indignity of a bath, and actually seemed to like it.
Then it was back in the car and off the the vet clinic for... step 3!

Ortiz is back in the GPA adoption program and settling in fine in his new foster home. This is a truly stunning brindle boy with matching eyes. Ortiz was a successful racer at Southland and even ran some stakes races. Now that he's retired, he loves going on short walks and he rides well in the car. He crates easily and sleeps through the night. Ortiz is a cool hound - literally - he likes to get into the baby wading pool and lay down! He's very loveable and follows his person - whatever room you are in he will be right there with you. His favorite treat is vanilla wafers. Ortiz is ready and looking for his forever home and forever family.
